Western medicine has done nothing to improve his condition and adulthood finds him wheelchair-bound and overprotected. Things change though when his sister leaves him on getting married and he is separated from his father. Although he is supposed to marry a deaf girl, he falls for Cyrus, with whom he discovers his true potential. His sexual awakening allows him to come to truly come to terms with the looks of his body.
