  Class is in session, the "rush" is on, and it's time to pick a sorority house. This should be easy for college freshman Katie Snow (Lucy Hale), who agrees to pledge to a popular sorority which was co-founded decades ago by her mother, Lutie (Courtney Thorne-Smith) and Lutie's best friend, Summer (Faith Ford). But when Katie meets the snobby Delta girls, known for their wild parties and hot boyfriends, she begins to have second thoughts. Events occur during pledge week to cause a rift between Katie and the Deltas, and she finds herself at the center of their "dirty rush" scandal. The sorority gets stripped of its upcoming formal when Katy snitches on them, and she becomes the target of the Deltas' vengeance - and her mother's disappointment - when she shocks her friends and family by pledging their rivals, the Kappas.
