R. Lee is a champ as always. I could watch Andy fall on a hook and watch Jessica Biel all day.

Probably one of the most well made remakes, especially in the horror genre. They gave the characters more emotion, but still kept the insane nature of the "Family". This was also one of the few horror movies that have protagonists you care about.

October 30, 2007vvv honey, its not real, sure the house was there its called a set. the orginal film was filmed before the date the massacre supposedly happened. its based on a real killer, but the massacre didnt happen. physco and silence of the lambs were based on the same killer

May 2, 2007I don't know how people can say that the original was scarier than this one. This one actually shows the action happening, it doesn't cut away at the best parts. This movie was brutal and scary as hell. This is the ONLY MOVIE THAT HAS EVER ACTUALLY SCARED ME! I have never been that scared in my life from a movie. This was the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre that I saw and ever since then I have been obsessed with the TCM movies. Check out my blog on www.myspace.com/irene420 under "me starring in texas chainsaw massacre" if you want to see a funny animation i made of my head on the chainsaw guy's body. lol

-
February 1, 2007Satisfying but inferior to the original which really had that tense and grimy feel.Too much of this had that MTV screenwriting 101 aura.
-
November 15, 2006I prefer the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre because its alot more scary and the original one felt more real then the newer one, but i still liked this one.

September 23, 2006"Based on true events."
No. Very very very, stupid claim. Almost as stupid as claiming The Blair Witch Project was true.
The character of Leatherface is based mostly on Ed Gein who lived up in Wisconson. Wisconson is no where near Texas.
Oh the glories of overhyped movies. -
September 21, 2006I dont know how much of this story is true, i havent even seen the origional, but that didnt stop it from being fantasticly violent and disturbing.
Justins Best Bit: The sherrifs death, repeat running overs, haha.
