The Thief
Directed by and staring Ray Milland, The Thief is a film without any spoken dialogue, using only natural sound effects. Allan Fields (Ray Milland) is a nuclear physicist turned spy on the run from the police. While in hiding he enters into a affair with a woman (Rita Gam) and commits a murder. Rita Gam, in her screen debut, is very effective as the woman who tries to help him.
