More Pierce Bronsons speed. He never was that great of as a 007 agent. This was more of 007 movie without the title. I thought Rene Russo was great in the movie.

MCT:July 9, 2008Not the "sheer brilliance" I was expecting, but it was certainly entertaining. It had a Bond-esque feel to it, but it was more adult-themed, which I liked. At times it ventured into romance territory (yawn), and I also felt a bit let down by the ending, but the excellently choreographed sting scenes up until then (as well as the Faye Dunaway snippets) sort of made up for it.

My favorite bond movie without James Bond. Pierce Brosnan is a Bond-like character that steals a painting. The chemistry between the characters is smoking hot. The movie is sexy, fun and intelligent. I've never seen the original, but this remake is great.

Great adaptation of Steve McQueen movie. Great chemistry between Pierce and Renee. Good plot about an art thief and an insurance investigator who fall in love. I love the scene with the bowler hats.

Interesting and in places cleaver, a story of a chase that ends in love. reading the title you think this is just a film about love affears but don't be fooled its a story of very cleaver art theif and a bounty hunter. Well worth the watch and one i got on DVD now

Fucken loved it, Im not really sure why. I think this is the first movie i actually like Denis leary in. I think it is because i love brosnan. I think the ending was good also. Good sex scenes.

Damn! This is one fine saucy movie.
I read that Rene Russo hired a sex therapist to coach on her body language & I can say her lessons had surely paid off.
Though this is a remake of the 1968 movie of the same title, they sure made it worth while. -

seriously one of my alltime TOP ever. incredible soundtrack and great acting and great NYC location shots of museum and city and Russo never looked so amazing. incredibly sexy.
