Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"When it comes to Pooh stories, a shortage of ambition and reluctance to improve on success should be counted as assets."
‑ Liam Lacey, Globe and Mail
‑ Jeff Millar, Houston Chronicle
"The Tigger Movie is a nice, blank children's movie; it is a dismaying betrayal of Tigger himself."
‑ Tim Brayton, Antagony & Ecstasy
"Even at a brief 77 minutes, we're left feeling the story and its characters have been stretched too thin."
‑ David Cornelius,
"Flouncy, trouncy feel-good fun!"
‑ Staci Layne Wilson,
"There's something about The Tigger Movie that exemplifies the subpar state of movies today."
‑ Robert Horton,
"A conflicted entertainment, compromised by trying too hard to impress the restless, self-referential adults in the audience."
‑ Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly
"Tigger's bouncy quest will appeal to younger viewers."
‑ Nell Minow, Common Sense Media
"...designed to appeal primarily towards younger audiences..."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
"Perfect for the single-digit aged set, who will love it, and not terrible for adults since the film moves fast at a quick 75 minutes."
‑ Chris Gore, Film Threat
"The Tigger Movie falls short of recent children's animated features."
‑ Joan Anderman, Boston Globe
"The dialogue is kid-level funny and the animation often has the manic energy of Alice in Wonderland."
‑ Eleanor Ringel Gillespie, Atlanta Journal-Constitution
"Everyone knows that tiggers are wonderful things, and the bouncy striped feline is more than wonderful in this delightful 2000 animated feature."
‑ Phil Hall, EDGE Boston
"It's not just the pacing. The Tigger Movie just doesn't show a lot of imagination."
‑ James Plath, Movie Metropolis
"There is something badly wrong with the film's premise, which contradicts Milne's lessons that Tigger can't climb trees ... and that, crucially, Tigger can't be unbounced."
‑ Kim Newman, Sight and Sound
