Would've been better if they had explain more. What was that they look for? I never got what it was. And how the hell did they come ouf from the cave in the end?
Well anyways, Dance Cook was so funny! And Michelle Yeoh and Ben Chaplin were great. -
i cant help it i like movies like this, with the special effects, well-choreograophed fight scenes, and a sense of adventure. and with a female actress as a lead. girlpower rules.

The less said the better. High-budget and terrible. Skiip it unless you're the biggest Yeoh fan ever.

Michelle Yeoh Co-Wrote, Co-Produced & Stars in this enjoyable (if sometimes flawed) action adventure romance film.
She is, as always, enchanting in this film and she is ably supported by Richard Roxburgh who has playing arch-villainy to a fine art. Ben Chaplin is also very likable as the thief who is her love interest. He provides some of the comic relief, but the man who provides most of it is popular American Comedian, Dane Cook, in one of his early film roles.
While enjoyable and entertaining in it's own right, the CGI effects aren't really up to scratch. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh because most of the CGI involved flame and fire effects, which is notoriously hard to do, especially on a tight budget.
What really sells The Touch is the sweeping score provided by the late Basil Poledouris. It mixes Western and Eastern sounds and is one of the most beautiful and exciting scores I've heard in a long time.
The Touch isn't perfect, but I recommend it nonetheless. (It is currently only available on DVD from Hong Kong.)

LOVED this film! Okay, yes some acting/scenes were very sappy and funky meant-to-be jokes but it was made well. This film introduced me to Ben Chaplin. Great actor, he is. :)
