Good film. The action in this film is absolutely awesome with excellent visual effects and Indy-like stunts performed. Frank always appears to have no way out but ends with one. One thing I didnt like about this film was the acting. Shu Qi was the worst out of the whole cast. I think there could have been a better actor to portray Frank than Jason Statham. Apart from that good film.
Freakin' awesome action sequences, truly inspired. An amusing script and even though the story was short, it was well thought out creating an overall decent action film.
Because it was the pinnacle of action movies for me when it came out, it left me speechless whenever he kicked someone's face in. I'm considering it a classic.
Not only does Jason Statham have that brooding-muscle-bound-hot-guy stare down, he also knows how to provide over 90 minutes of non-stop action. Did I already mention that he's hot?
This is such a great movie!! This movie got me turned onto Jason Statham and I haven't let go sense.... except for Transporter 2, which sucks serious monkey balls!
A decent action flick that made Americans who hadn't seen SNATCH finally realize that Jason Statham is a star. The fights are creative and fun and the movie roars right along to a great climax. People who enjoy car chases, ripped British dudes, explosions, and martial arts will love this. Check it out.
Just about the right combination, too little or too much action brings a movie to a dead standstill, so this was just about on par...simple plot, no wasted lines, funny, cynical, fast...awesome ;)
this movie ranks in the best movies I have ever seen! amazing action sequences and fight scenes. also generally very clean. not much swearing or unnecessary scenes. AWESOME movie!
Another guy flick featuring the man himself, Mr. Jason Statham. The Transporter reeks of a terrible plot, and to be frank, it would have been better without a plot in the first place. However being a guy, its got some great action and fight scenes - the first 20 min are really amazing. Unfortunately it goes downhill from there. If you liked Hitman or Crank, you'll most likely like this. Sad though, as the movie's premise had a lot of potential. Until it got a plot.
While the film seems to take place in a parallel universe where the laws of physics have no place, the raw energy of the piece, combined with some great stunts make this an essential guilty pleasure.
Ex-Special Forces operator Frank Martin (Jason Statham) lives what seems to be a quiet life along the French Mediterranean, hiring himself out as a mercenary "transporter" who moves goods (human or otherwise) from one place to another. No questions asked. Carrying out mysterious and sometimes dangerous tasks in his tricked-out BMW.
Frank adheres to a strict set of rules, which he never breaks. Rule One: Never change the deal.
Rule Two: No names, Frank doesn't want to know whom he's working for, or what he's transporting.
Rule Three: never look in the package.
The action and Frank's problem starts, when he suddenly violate his own rules.

Loooooooove it, non stop action from start to finish, think Bond without the Gadgets, Mi5 and the cheesyness and youv'e got yourself one hell ofa good action movie.
