Highly experimental and inspiring trip into the possibilities of cinema. Tulse Luper Suitcases is a trilogy that defies all the known limits and boundaries of a filmmaking. It is also director/writer Peter Greenaway's most ambitious project since his The Falls, which was also presented in same kind of documentary style. Greenway's obsession to the lists and listing things is highly evident here, but mostly this is completely new groundbreaking way to make films, even for Greenaway. There are some scenes and ideas that are brilliant and then there are also moments that does not work so well. But overall, you have to admire the ambition behind Greenaway and the path he has chosen as a independent filmmaker. No one make films quite like this in these days. I dare you to find it and experience it. It will not be forgotten easily. This rating is my overall rating of the trilogy as a whole.
