    New Zealand shocker that kept me glued to the screen the entire time right up until its unsurprising and unimpressive ending. And then there's the black blood. Was that an aesthetic choice? Whatever the reason, it was annoying and distracting.

    One noteable observation is that all the blood looks like Hershey's chocolate syrup - a trick used in the black and white "Psycho" to show up better on film - this film, however, is in colour.
