    There is little characterisation offered and one of the best monsters to ever be created is also ultimately wasted on this film.

    Essentially this film is an average slasher-style horror dressed up in cosmic-horror clothing. The creature is done very well, but my own personal highlight is the over-dramatic Carter, whose behaviour and lines are perhaps the most Lovecraftian things in the whole film.

    Great tale and one of the best creature designs I've ever seen. it has such a great effect on me even though I watched this as a kid eons ago and cant remember the title at all, but I do rremember that the creature lives in the attic, is abandoned and has hoofs for legs and is a ...( read more)human+goat crossbreed. A must-watch for all horror fans. way above those current horror films.

    I must rewatch this film. I remember it as being an enjoyable campy horror movie. But others reviews suggest it's a false memory. I know my mother loves it.
