Plot: A seemingly-untroubled adolescent carries disturbing secrets that compel a psychiatrist to unearth the patient's gruesome past.
The Unsaid (2001) stars Andy Garcia as a psychiatrist who is haunted by the suicide of his 16 year old son. Three years has passed, and he relunctantly takes on a case of a troubled youth who is about to turn 18 years old and leave a group home that he has been staying at for several years after his mother has been murdered by his father. Garcia gives a believable performance as the troubled doctor as well as the performance of Vincent Kartheiser as the youth he is trying to help.
this movie taught me how to understand, what is not staight sex/romance...truely it deserved that backup disk i made.
Absolutely loved this movie! Andy Garcia's performance was brilliant and Vincent Kartheiser was unforgettable!
A disturbing disturbing yet a brilliant film. A must see for a movie lover. Andy Gracia delivers a stunning performance.
I really liked the premise of this movie... it started off with a bang and really got me hooked, but It really didn't do too much after that. It seemed to be bordering on greatness, with a story that had potential but ended up being rather typical and overdone. It's a good movie, but also a slight miscalculation that could have been much better.
