This movie is pretty good and the acting is strong all around. There's not much more to say about that, other than the scene on the stairs is one of the classic scenes in movie history.
An explosive crime drama. It's a classic cops vs criminals film. Barrels blazing action from begining to end. Kevin Costner gives a great performance. Sean Connery gives an excellent performance. Robert De Niro is marvelous. Director, Brian De Palmas masterpiece. Vintage style fu...( read more)
Kevin Costner was good as usual. De Niro as Al Capone, arguably the greatest gangster of all time, was a let-down. Would have given this 4 stars if it weren't for the ending, which lacks logic.
oh yes costner is so gorgeous and so is a very young garcia too bad the magic was broken for me when i found out costner was a married man when he made this
You can't beat a good gangster movie and this one's a true Classic. Set in the 1930's during the era of prohibition... And what a great cast with Connery, De Niro, Costner and Garcia. Loads of classic action in this one!! I love a good shoot out.
A minor 80s classic that launched the careers of numerous people involved, and re-launched Sean Connery, who turns in his best performance, if not the best performance in the film. Connery gives the film an edge, a sense of excitement, and an energy that keep it fresh. He also re...( read more)
Vulgar, violent, funny and sometimes breathtakingly beautiful, great costumes, great sets, great cars, great guns, great locations...
BUT... it does not have a great script, great performances or great direction...DeNiro's scenes portraying Al Capone can be singled out as the bi...( read more)

Once again Hollywood takes liberties with history but it is a good film with fine performances.
i loved this movie, a good ganster movie...where a happyending is never welcomed:)
The Untouchables is no doubt Brian DePalma's best movie. It stars Kevin Costner as Elliot Ness who wants to bring down Al Capone (Robert De Niro).
He forms a friendship and partnership with an old officer well played by Sean Connery. He also gets help from a young cop p...( read more)
A good Mafia with god actors likes De Niro and Sean Coner. Exciting and cool, I love Mafia movies.
Great great crime movie. The casting was great, Sean Connery as the ever persistent and all knowing policeman, Andy Garcia as the hot-headed dead aim rookie, Charles Martin Smith as the bumbeling accountant who gets to see action, Kevin Costner as the morally perfect cop and Robe...( read more)

Very interesting plot, an incredibly young and beautiful Kevin Costner, and De Palma that remakes the famous scene from "The battleship Potemkin"....very good!
Great mob movie, with an equally great cast and good performances - although this isn't Costner's best performance, he could've been a little better. The sets and costumes are exceptional.
This is my personal favorite crime movie. With a stellar cast of Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and Robert DeNiro, The Untouchables is a thrill ride of the Capone era.
Directed by the great DePalma, "The Untouchables" follows the struggle of Elliot Ness in bringing down Mighty AlCapone.
All-Star Cast headlined by Robert DeNiro, Kevin Costner and Sean Connery.
A Very good gangster movie, but can't rival The Godfather nor Goodfellas in any way.
Every star in this film was exceptional expecially Sean Connery AND Andy Garcia who I think is hot.
Pretty good. Not a big fan of Costner's acting, but DeNiro looks good in a fat suit
Great Costner and Connery movie. Gives a feeling of a gangster movie set in Chicago from the 1930's. Plus, young Kevin Costner.
Usually TV inspired movies don't work, but was a great movie. Great cast. Sean Connery got the Oscar and it was well deserved for his performance.
Great acting. Allot of gun fighting and action scenes. Some really memorable scenes.
