July 5, 2008There's nothing extraordinary about Kevin Costner. He's a run of the line, craptacular performer. And this could have been great too, I mean it has Connery and by De Palma, responsible for the OTT awesome Scarface. As it stands it's good, but that log brings it down.

July 1, 2008This is a brutal masterpiece of cinema. Beautifully crafted and the tension gets cranked up as the film goes on. You literally want more when the credits roll. Connery and Garcia give perfect performances and De Niro as usual is on top form, Pure classic!

June 5, 2008Kevin Costner was good as usual. De Niro as Al Capone, arguably the greatest gangster of all time, was a let-down. Would have given this 4 stars if it weren't for the ending, which lacks logic.

May 25, 2008You can't beat a good gangster movie and this one's a true Classic. Set in the 1930's during the era of prohibition... And what a great cast with Connery, De Niro, Costner and Garcia. Loads of classic action in this one!! I love a good shoot out.
