This is a pretty decent film that had a lack of...something. Whether that "something" is a point, a better storyline, a less complicated trio love story, it surely missed something. The performances are excellent (with Vincent D'Onofrio on the lead, Thomas Jane next -Salma Hayek was not at her greatest here) It's an interesting gay-themed film, especially if you like indie, low-budget films or one of the actors starring in it. But it could have been a lot better.
This has to be one of the worst movies of all time! The acting is terrible, the story is boring, and some scenes are simply vulgar.Do yourself a favor and skip this overlong wannabe "artsy" trash!
sadly the title makes about as much since as the movie did. it had a great cast, but that did little to overcome the fact that it was confusing, depressing and pointless. the one redeeming quality was 2 quotes i?ve stolen from the film? ?gary wishes he was kissing someone so hard his mouth hurts, so soft his heart hurts, so long his neck hurts, so deep his throat hurts, and so completely that nothing hurts.? and? ?be dumb enough to fall in love, but smart enough to know better.?
