June 5, 2007If you haven't read Frank Peretti's book "The Visitation" (off of which the movie is based), then this is an okay movie. If you've read the book, you want to cry. They massacred his book and completely changed quite a few things - it was very annoying for me.
I was expecting a lot because Frank Peretti is one of my favorite authors, but (and this is just my opinion) the movie was a bit of a let-down.
I'm really not trying to down the movie, I'm just calling it like I see it. I think maybe this comes from the author not being involved with the movie - but I could be wrong because I don't know if he was or not. Just didn't seem like it.
I think the movie is better if you haven't read the book because my mom liked it and she hadn't read the book. I had read the book and wanted to cry. lol -

July 19, 2006This is a very good Christian movie, the Christian who made the movie was very smart in putting it together. A very wise man!
