If you can ignore the heavey-handed Christian tone of the movie, it's fairly entertaining. Even a bit creepy. But I wouldn't go so far as to actually call it "scary."
not a bad little occult thriller.the suspense builds very well throughout.some of the actings a bit shoddy, but if you like this type of film, def worth a watch.
Nice idea, interesting concept about a guy feeling abandoned by God and turning out to the opposite side and now trying to appear like a false Messiah "curing" people and performing miracles, but falling in a lot of simplicities and poorly written lines.
This has to be the eeriest film I've ever seen. A man pretending to be Jesus and fooling everyone is creepy enough, but once that embittered ex-pastor starts lookiing into it, it's downright scary.
This movie was just ok. It did not have the cool scenes like I expected. The movie was weak and had no realism. The parts where the evil came out of the people look like a copy cat of the Green Mile.

If you haven't read Frank Peretti's book "The Visitation" (off of which the movie is based), then this is an okay movie. If you've read the book, you want to cry. They massacred his book and completely changed quite a few things - it was very annoying for me.
I was expecting a lot because Frank Peretti is one of my favorite authors, but (and this is just my opinion) the movie was a bit of a let-down.
I'm really not trying to down the movie, I'm just calling it like I see it. I think maybe this comes from the author not being involved with the movie - but I could be wrong because I don't know if he was or not. Just didn't seem like it.
I think the movie is better if you haven't read the book because my mom liked it and she hadn't read the book. I had read the book and wanted to cry. lol
This is a very thrilling but still very good, it makes you see what could happen to a person, their a demon's inside of people, and Jesus was the 1 who drove demon's out of people if you read the bible my friend's you would know that, this a great movie!
This is a very good Christian movie, the Christian who made the movie was very smart in putting it together. A very wise man!
