... we are able to sit back and enjoy the fun without ever losing sight of the sadness underneath.
Likeable enough, user friendly family fare. Predictable and safe to show to Grandma. A little too cute for it's own good at times, but for the most part, very entertaining. Emily Watson is great as usual and the New Zealand support cast were fun to pick out for me. The moral seem...( read more)
This movie was really nice, I thought it would be a childish kids movie but I think it was very beautiful. I loved the water horse, it was so cute also. Then it got so BIG. The movie was very nice and the ending was intense and good.
not as fake as i thought it'd be. it's pretty heartbreaking. the mom's darned annoying!
Awesome filming locations and good cast, but the plot... well, it could've been much better.
