    Adam Sandler really knows how to bring the funny and he definitely did that in water boy. It was a great comedy like all Sandler films. Loved Kathy Bates, thought she was really funny. I however could have went the rest of my live without seeing Henry Winklers ass. Yeah.. could h...( read more)ave done without that..lol

    Adam Sandler doesn't play off of other people for his laughs on this movie which is the only reason I recommend seeing it. He uses other people for laughs too much.

    A decent comedy if you like football. The premise is implausible as hell and Henry Winkler and Jerry Reed as football coaches is even less believable. There's also the nagging annoying feeling that Sandler had gone to this "stupid yelling funny character" well one too many times....( read more) And was I the only one who was turned on by Fairuza Balk? I love dangerous women I guess.

    Saw this movie on a boat in 1998, everybody thought this was the funniest movie ever at the time with all the catch phrases and stutters. Saw it again recently and its still funny but real dumb. It's the last classic in Sandler's 90's movie formula in my opinion. What came aft...( read more)er? Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, Eight Crazy Nights, Anger Management. Some of those are funny but not like Sandler's comedies from Billy Madison to the Waterboy.

    This is "Sandler" trying to play an underdog who is trying to be the underdog at the box office, but forgets that the underdog is an underdog for a reason, and he definetly didn't make the winning goal, and just ended up being an underdog with no chance at all.
