I've got to say I just love this movie. Dermot Mulroney is so hot. I love his movies. This had some great scenes and lovely quotes. It's such a typical story and even though the ending is predictable, I love watching 2 people growing to love each other even though there may be a slight problem it's still really nice to watch. I thought that the cast were well picked out. It was good to see a range of different actors. It also had great music, a lot of Michael Buble and old classical songs like 'Save the last dance for me'. It was an enjoyable movie to watch which I love. Great comedy too.
If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the in-flight movies shown on the way to hell. (at least it would be for me.)
Nevermind my staggering hatred for Mr. Dermot Mulroney - a hatred that includes his shallow soul-less eyes, cheesy faux-hunk grin, even his irritating name - but the inclusion of Debra Messing, who was apparently "made-up" and styled to look like something out of a quarter machine in this role, is enough to push anyone over the edge...
Messing's self-conscious acting in this film is just as tacky as the fright-fest that is her hair...never have I been exposed to so many eerie shades of offensive orange in my lifetime... Some I didn't even know existed! (and frankly, I was happier without them.)
Awful visuals aside, the very concept of this story is ridiculously cheap and taking the time to sit through this, would offer nothing but time-wasted.
I Love this movie. My favorite line "Last night when we were fighting, i thought that this was over and i was gonna leave you alone and just take off but, then i realized I'd rather fight with you than make love with anyone else." Very romantic movie. I would watch this movie over and over again
yeah, it was god awful, my dad walked out barely half way through, but it's short, intolerably sweet and genuinely quite funny. A total wet saturday afternoon movie.
The locations chosen were perfect. I'd love to lay in those fields.
This was actually a very nice movie and an excellent escape for those who feel unlucky in the area of love. Not only is it about the obvious, but it's also about betrayal, being able to trust, and forgiveness.

I kind of love Debra Messing, Amy Adams, and Dermot Mulroney...but then they get in a movie together and there isn't the wonderful spark I thought. Still kind of cute
Kat (Debra) is looking for a date for her sister's wedding so she hires an escort to make her ex jealous. Some secrets are revealed at the wedding and things get complicated with the escort. Good cast and good plot.
Kat is flying back to England for her sister's wedding. Realizing that her ex-fiance is the best man, she decides to hire an escort to be her date to the wedding and pose as her boyfriend.
what if you have the money and access to rent a-- guy? this is in the case of kat, who has broken up with a guy and goes back to englad for a wedding. so she decides to pay for an escort to make him jealous. they soon develop feelings toward each other...
it was actually good!
