A funny movie. I love the Wilson brothers. They make a great team. I laughed my butt off from this movie.

I was UNlucky enough to catch this pile of dreck in a small, independant theatre. Easily one of the years worst films!

This was Luke Wilson's directing debut and he does a decent job. My expectations were low going into it but I enjoy the Wilson bros' sense of humor and there were some cameos from great actors (not including Mendes who is way more suited to be a model than an actress). Thoroughly amiable effort by the Wilson clan.

You know, I REALLY wanted to like this movie, but just couldn't. The acting is fair and the story just doesn't cut it. For a film having Luke Wilson, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Eva Mendes, I expected a lot more.

Starts well, with an enjoyable first act which seems at first to be going somewhere. It's too bad, because it showed promise and (Luke) Wilson's performance is actually really good. Oh well.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Wendell and the film, but this film had some serious commitment issues, both on screen and off. I think maybe the film was a little over zealous with being a feel-good comedy, that it forget to be a funny one, and settled for a less atracting Romantic-...( read more)Comedy. It was still an average, low-budget atempt at a major comdey.
I midly reccomend it to Luke Wislon fans!

This movie had 3 elements to be good: a strong cast, original presentation and an interesting story. Unfortunately, it also possessed a fourth element -- crapium.
