  Probably the worst movie I've ever seen based on a book that I've read. Even on it's own I don't see how people would even find this worth their time. I love Ray Walston but this is his worst role ever - and he's the best thing about this movie. Most of these characters are just completely unlikable and it's hard to understand why you would cut so much development from the book out of the movie and then add stuff that just makes it more confusing. Only giving it a whole star because I was able to watch it to the end.
