It was very good movie but i personally thought that the end was really stupid and typical...i mean who couldnt see that coming...its in like EVERY horror movie...what like they are going to quit doing the ritual yeah right!!!!! Like i said good up until the very end.

Utter rubbish. After massacring "The Omen", Hollywood has decided to remake one of the best British horror films of all time. What is this, don't the Americans have any ideas of their own? What British film will be next? The original Wicker Man is rooted in Scottish history and culture. It is also original and believable. Translating it to modern day America is unjustified and an insult. They could have at least used a British location and a British cast. But no, Americans apparently understand no accent except their own. I will not be going to see this film, and I hope it bombs at the box office like a cluster bomb over Kabal.
OMG!!!!!!!! Can i ask why such an amazing film has been remade into an american thriller thing. the original was brilliant! the least they could have done was set it on a British island with a British cast. Why would there be a pagan island in america when it was christians who settled there. nothing against pagans or christians or other religions but still. its offensive to remake a film as good as the wikerman
