An renowed & beloved family classic that forever defined the family entertainment genre. Little ones may be scared the first time by the flying monkeys, but will enjoy the whole 2 hours of this family classic.
It always kind of bugged me, but I saw it again recently and it was like a completely different movie. I love it. The Wizard of Oz walks that line between a sweet kids' story and creepy head trip that can only be viewed objectively when you watch it with your kids many years late...( read more)
the greatest musical ever made, uh, science fiction, uh, fantasy, uh, romance, uh, oh...nevermind, this one's essential americiana for the baby boomer set and it's resonance resonates far more than my poor command of the language can give justice to. let's just enjoy!
We're off to see the Wizard! Has anyone seen this dozens of times and not loved it every time? There's no place like home.

A classic film based on the classic fairytale that pushed the boundaries of filmmaking at the time.
My dad is scared of the flying monkeys:) but I like everything about this movie!

It is a classic but I don't watch it the same way I did. Rather than unfairly comment I shall not rate it down via stars.
