good for the fans like me ....but some TV episodes where much better
i love this film i watch it again the other day and i enjoy as much as the first time i seen it loads of times and i still watch it
Small pox bees, clones, Dana, Fox, GIANT alien space craft, whats not to like?
This big screen adaption of the phenomenally popular T.V. series is nothing short of brilliant it has all the makings of a fantastic Sci-Fi thriller and a great conspiracy thriller all wrapped up into one sinister little package.
The X-Files: Fight the Future is not an oscar ...( read more)
I can see how X-files has such a devoted fan-base, but this movie was pretty bland and it seemed like they tried to shove way too much into the movie. They might as well of just made this into a 2-parter episode.
A good film version of the series, a little more generous obviously but I guess you either love the X-Files or you don't!
I started watching this show when I was 9 years old and I was hooked from the pilot right to the finale. This movie is great, it's just like watching a two part episode in one shot. The hallway scene is such a huge sike, I loved it.
Like two chapters of the TV show (one of my faves), and not the best ones. The show is caracterized by subtility and suspence, why showing so many things?
I've never been much of an X-Files fan but I can certainly see the huge appeal of the two main leads. Fans of the TV show will likely be thrilled to see back story of the series being further enhanced in this feature film. Also, the film gets pretty epic with the alien premise. S...( read more)
"Fight the Future"

Extremely steeped in the show's mythology, but a must-see for fans looking to follow the show's mytharc.
As a stand alone movie, it rates as a half-decent action movie. As a part of the X-Files television show, it is a necessary watch. This movie explores parts of the 'Alien Conspiracy' not seen in the show.
I've had to see this in English and Italian, only I had to hear it in English as my sister quoted the entire thing when we were watching it in Italian.
This is a pretty good movie all and all.
Really do love this movie I also love the TV show as well.
Good adaption to the TV series, it was really just a super long episode which was good but at times it dragged.
I thought this film was very thrilling and mysterious. It's just enough of conspiracy and exitment. I find the x-files mythology very intresting, and are longing to find out more.
This one, was so much better than I want to believe.
(1998 Director: Rob Bowman)Could possibly be described as the "Lost" of science fiction...still if you enjoyed the X-Files series..you might enjoy this movie and its sequel, The X-Files: I want to Believe. Co-stars Martin Landau
A great movie for a great television show. The X-Files is my all time favorite show from television. And this movie lived up to my expectations. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovnyare both excellent as usual as Scully and Mulder. A great Sci-fi mystery film. Though if you never w...( read more)

This is an ok film which does follow some of the events from the series but not as good as I had hoped.
Absolutely love this movie, the x files is the best ever tv series adn the movie is just the best ever. TLTXF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In this X-Files movie, Mulder and Scully are face with the shocking truth about government involvement regarding Alien.
The movie itself is entertaining enough and reveal many mystery involving Mulder's dad and sister (for the one who watch the series), and the organization of t...( read more)
A movie to carry on the tv show's legacy. If you are a fan of the series you will like the movie. Ten years after watching this nothing stands out in my mind.
