Middling musical has some decent performances, the always reliable Agnes Moorehead chief among them, and colorful costumes and photography but forgettable songs and a very weak third act. Not awful but not worth going out of your way to catch either.

I am not a fan of musicals, but I do enjoy 3-D. Well bad music, boring plot, and gimmick less 3-D makes this film hard to watch. Only about 4 scenes in the whole film had a real 3-D effect on it, that's just not enough. I would only give this film 1 star if I watched it in 2-D.
