Three Violent People
In this seething, violent western an ex-Confederate soldier (Heston) marries a woman (Baxter) he barely knows and with her returns to his Texas ranch which was helmed by Roland and his family while the hero was gone. They are accompanied by the soldier's one-armed brother (Tryon). Soon after their arrival home, Tryon insists that his brother give him gold for his portion of the land. He then encourages his veteran brother to allow a Yankee carpetbagger to buy the ranch. Soon afterward the vet discovers his now pregnant wife was once a hooker, but, despite the tumult, the two stay together… More
