A charming childrens' movie about a boy with farting issues. If you have a problem with your kids hearing ass or damn you may want to skip it because both words are used frequently in this film.
I find it very hard to understand why this film is #89 on th IMDb bottom 100 movies. Although the initial premise of a boy with huge gas problems may not sound appealing, it's actually a good film. Quality acting from all involved (including Rupert Grint, and a tiny teensy role for Keira Knightley), and a sweet central storyline of the two boys friendship. It's obviously not taking itself too seriously, and the only reason I can think that people wouldn't like it is because they expect too much of it. Kids will love it. Adults will find it amusing. And I adored the colour scheme! The continued green theme gave the film an original edge that sets it apart from typical 'kid' films. A good one to watch on a rainy afternoon.
I found this movie ok but it is also annoying the boy who farts all the time what he says all the time is That was the best day of my life........ ever or That was the worst day of my life......... ever. It gets annoying hearing the same line over and over but it's an OK movie.
Basically one long fart joke. Amazingly, its not as bad as it sounds and it may actually be funny to those 8 to 14 years of age. Its also worth a look for Harry Potter fans who will enjoy the performance of a very young Rupert Grint.
Not as funny as i hoped it would be. It was pretty stupid to be honest. It hasn't put me off Rupert Grint or Stephen Fry though. I still think they're both great.
Me and my delirious friend laughed ourselves silly watching the first 5 minutes of this film - after that, we were wishing it was over. It had a few decent laughs and I'm sure it would be hilarious to a 10 year old. For me, farty noises aren't going to cut it.
omg somehow i managed to watch this movie, its about a boy that farts and then suddenly hes a spaceman boy :S
Rupert grint looks such a geek in this film he he it has millions of mini harry potter stars..and keira knightly..and random famous ppl that onli hav one line
