"Tied to a Chair mostly suffers from a sense of confusion that never reads like bona fide experimentalism, just aimlessness."
‑ Diego Costa, Slant Magazine
"Insulting several nationalities and most of the filmgoing public, "Tied to a Chair" lurches through acting atrocities, continuity glitches and narrative gaps with grating insouciance."
‑ Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times
"A potentially interesting premise is squandered by disappointing execution in this micro-budget indie comedy."
‑ Ethan Alter, Film Journal International
"Strings together characters and twists with amateurishly chaotic abandon."
