Another very average horror set off the beaten track. A couple of familiar faces in the cast and it is quite gory in parts. However it feels like it's trying to ride the coat tails of Wrong Turn, The hills have eyes franchises. One for horror fans who don't mind a cheesey horror....( read more)

It's not bad considering its genre (check my "Went Down the Wrong Road" Backwoods Horror List), but the last shot gives an auto deduction of half a star (the killer is still alive! and traveled to the victims' home town - it's not even laughable satire, just PATHETIC).

I was torn on rating this movie.

The plot of this film has been did soooo many times. Wrong Turn...The Hills Have Eyes. Ring any bells? A young couple hiking in the mountains, crazy hillbilly family, a deformed freak. Need I go on? Nah.
