I fucking love this movie!
Its been my fav ever since I saw it for the first time 10 years ago.
I have seen it 2749505736253950683253 times.
I have so much stuff of Titanic I've been collecting over the years.
I love everything about this movie.
I will NEVER love another movie like Titanic in my lifetime.

The shipwreck of the Titanic is one of the greatest sequences ever directed. The editing, tense score, and the performances of Winslet and Zane are all top-notch. If the whole movie was from the beginning of the shipwreck to the final ending, this would be one of the greatest films ever made. But with everything that came before that, it's just a very good film.

One of the most, if not the single most overated movie of all time? I saw it, to long, it sucked for that reason alone.... I'm just glad that I didn't see it in the theater!
Why was it overated you may ask. Well, if a movie that is really long doesn't have enough of what it takes to be a good movie, in terms of the acting, directing, the screenplay, etc., just not being good enough, even if they are still decent, then the movie will not be worth it. This movie was like 4 hours long!
The acting was subpar! Kathy Bates was really the only one who was good in it. The directing was only ok and the screenplay was pretty crappy in a lot of parts throughout the film, not so bad in others. Titanic doesn't suck, but the movie is just not good enough to justify the sheer length of the film. Therefore it does kinda suck at the very least for being far to long & not very good.
