A brash American DEA agent Shaun Broderick (Cliff DeYoung) and a staid Peruvian counterpart Lt. Delgado (Robert Beltran) are forced into working together to bring a drug lord (Orlando Sacha) to a Miami prison. Their prisoner escapes, plunging the agents into intensive chases, gun fights, and explosions against an opulent backdrop of posh locales and multiple locations. All the while, the conflict between the two agents develops along with the action, careening to a final resolution on both counts. Filmmaker Llosa, incidentally, is the cousin of renown author and powerful right-wing Peruvian politician Mario Vargas-Llosa. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
