    I agree that this is one of the best movies against racism. However, people are overlooking the whole idea. It's about prejudice in general, and understanding innocence. It's wrong to kill a mockingbird because they are innocent creatures who never hurt anything. This is a metaphor for the town's treatment of innocent Boo, and the court's treatment of a black man accused of raping a girl when it is obvious that he did not. In short, this movie takes a stand against all prejudice in every form. That's what makes this movie stand out against the usual films of this genre.

    This is such a great film, i enjoy watching it everytime and i think Gregory Peck is soo cute. The children in the movie are so talented, i really like Jem. I also like Tom Robinson.

    if its not good tokill a monkingbird bcuz they sing to you then why was Tom killed. i mena it was clear as daylight to realize that he didnt raped that trashy girl. she came on to him and then she realize that what she did wasnt right so she got mad and accuse tom robinson of rapping her. the bitch wrong. the title of the movie was a great name referring it to tom.
