MCT:July 25, 2008This I thought was a good film, and yes a bit rediculous it still is good. As most animated films were. It had the traditional style of the cartoon and for once they talked as well. Also I thought the plot was good.

Back for the 90s, tom and jerry can now speak in cute english accents.
The introduction of english Dog "trevor", who "can't abbide the taste of cat, and would rather make daisycains" makes for a comical romp.
What is more appealing is the directors symbolic metaphors, suggesting that the relation ship between Tom and Jerry is much like the relationship of God And Satan.
The profound aspect is that toms owner is a higher power than god, an "unknown!".
Due to the religous leanings this film flopped, but it is a piece of history,
But isnt everything. -

I own this movie, and at first I was kind of shocked when Tom and Jerry started speaking, but overall it was a good movie.

Personally, I found this to be a cute movie the last time I watched it and that has been a while back... so I rate it with caution and found memories.

I loved Tom and Jerry as a kid! And anytime I pass it when I'm flipping through channels I stop and watch for a few...nothing beats alittle game of cat and mouse!

they had them talking! what a waste! But after "Garfield" and "Mouse Hunt" when will we get a realistic-looking cat and mouse chase without them talking to each other?

I haven't seen this since its release, so I must have been quite young... but we did buy it on VHS and I did rewatch it, mostly for the songs if anything. A pleasant family cartoon that does justice to the old series. A talking Jerry is creepy but it works wonders.

MCT:December 26, 2006well i really thought that for a cartoon movie it was quite original and really good. anyway i rreally thought that they had a good plot about the little girl getting stuck with her mean aunt and her dad being away or lost was it? i am not quite sure but once again back to the good plot.
then she runs away and finds herself in an adventure with Tom and Jerry to find her dad. now there is a total classic. and the aunt and her butler or husband or boyfriend get put in the slammer. that is really the only think that counts in this movie. JK!!!!! i liked this movie like i like pretzels and that is saying alot. -

MCT:December 9, 2006Who was the genius who decided to write a script for a movie version of the classic cartoon? and who was the even smarter genius production company that decided to commission this sap? attrocious from the start, the old cartoon network slapstick animation sketch which brought joy and laughter to geneartions has now had its reputation tainted with a huge stain which may never wash away.
