Pierce Brosnan returns for his second stint as James Bond ( after GoldenEye) in Tomorrow Never Dies. Tomorrow Never Dies is the 18th bond film and i think it has to be Pierce Brosnan greatest role as 007 and also starring
Desmond Llewelyn and Judi Dench and this has to be one of the best James Bond films and it comes under the direction of
    Roger Spottiswoode.

Tomorrow Never Dies was the 18th Bond film produced by EON productions and for the second time starred Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something different about Bond in this. The film isn't as bad as other Bond fans say it is. The story is the usual 'villain wants to take over the world' storyline, but this time is from a different approach. Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce) is an interesting Bond villain as he doesn't have the looks of a Bond villain, plus owning a newspapers company isn't really a villains profession, but once the action picks up, the character does become very menacing.

The other characters also have a change of pace. M (Judi Dench) seems more involved with Bond, as does Moneypenny. The two Bond girls in this movie also are different. The main Bond girl, Wai Lin (Michelle Yoeh) is probably the most action involved Bond girl out of any of the previous ones. The romance between a Bond girls happens more with Paris Carver but her story is cut short through the film, when the character is killed off.

A descent James Bond flick. Once again I think Pierce Brosnan is the best James Bond. In my opinion it had the dumbest villian in Bond history. But still a good film.

oh hi Teri Hatcher! I didn't know you were in this movie. That was an unexpected surprise. Not a bad movie. The action scenes were nonstop which was good. Brosnan isn't my favorite Bond, but he did a good job in this one.

One of the most exciting Bond films in recent times although compared to Goldeneye the acting leaves much to be desired.

The villains aren't great but the acting between Bond and Pryce is a joy to behold.

Pierce Borsnan as James Bond is battling a business tycoon with a mad plan. Kinetic and high octane thrills.

Tomorrow Never Dies was quite possibly Pierce Brosnan's worst film, I didn't like it as much as the other ones.

After the cool film of GoldenEye, whic is definitely Bond's best film with Brosnan in it, I decided to check out his next film, since I liked GoldenEye.

This is enjoyable, but definitely not the best so far. OK story and characters, and cool action sequences, nothing more.

#8 -- It's not GoldenEye, but it comes very close. There is hardly anything to dislike about this film. Brosnan does a great job as Bond once again, and this time we get to see Jonathan Pryce as Elliot Carver, one of the most unique villains of all time. Michelle Yeoh also provides the proper alternative to the joke that was Jinx in Die Another Day.

ah back when 007 didn't look like a crack head. I miss those days! Now we're stuck with pouty lips, over buffed JB how sad! This was a good movie, I totally forgot that Terri Hatcher was in this, I was too focused on Yeoh I guess lol

Has some great moments, has some cheese. Manipulating politics through media is an interestng theme, though over the top here. The boat is kinda lame.

Prosnan's best Bond film succeeds mainly due to its consistent suspense and solid story. That said, there's nothing terribly original. Even the technique in which it was made is somewhat straight-forward and bland. However, Brosnan makes a good Bond and Yeoh is a much-welcomed sidekick. The motorcycle chase is a definite highlight.

An outrageous plot and some mediocre preformances from minute characters aren't enough to ruin this 007 flick. By this point in the series Brosnan was firmly James Bond, probably the 2nd best after Connery. Its predecessor, GoldenEye was so much better though.

'Elliot Carver: Good morning, my golden retrievers. What kind of havoc shall the Carver Media Group create in the world today? News?
Newsman: Floods in Pakistan, riots in Paris, and a plane crash in California.
    Elliot Carver: Outstanding!'
'Paris Carver: I used to look in the papers every day for your obituary.
    James Bond: Sorry to disappoint.'
'Q: It's the insurance damage waiver for your beautiful new car. Now, will you need collision coverage?
    James Bond: Yes.
    Q: Fire?
    James Bond: Probably.
    Q: Property destruction?
    James Bond: Definitely.
    Q: Personal Injury?
James Bond: I hope not, but accidents do happen.
Q: They frequently do with you.
James Bond: Well, that takes care of the normal wear-and-tear. Is there any other protection I need?
Q: Only from me 007, unless you bring that car back in pristine order.'
    '[Paris slaps James Bond]
James Bond: Was it something I said?
Paris Carver: How about the words, "I'll be right back"?'

This movie could be better, somehting is missing and I don´t know what is, maybe it´s because Pierce Brosnan made various movies alike. But still is a 007 movie
