    I caught this on cable years and years ago, and was immediately sucked in. No wonder Lewis and Pitt dated-- the chemistry they have in this movie is insane. Not only that, but movies starring Brad Pitt before he was THE BRAD PITT are refreshing and are a reminder of why we fell in love with him in the first place.

    I remember this being quite sad, and very absorbing. Lewis can do no wrong in a role like this, making for a great film.

    Based on a true story, it's a bit sad and depressing, but still a great movie. Brad Pitt always did well in the older bad boy rolls, and he has good dysfuntional chemistry with Juliette Lewis.

    A story that's baswed on capital punishment for a miner.

    Juliette Lewis, as ever plays a great role, accompanied by Brad Pitt, who in my opinion plays these type of parts very well, where he's not playing a pretty boy.

    VERDICT: A though provoking film, enjoyable, definitely worth a watch

    Not the ending I expected, I'm a sucker for happy endings, so was disappointed. A good movie overall.

    very good. about a girl that has a rough life and all the shit she has to go through. then she meets this guy and she gets sentenced to death

    Really good interesting film but it is so sad as it is a true story & it just seems so wrong that they would condemn that 15 yr old to death!
