I just like the movie. What else can I say? Thanks to my step-mother, who was a jet engine mechanic for Norfolk Naval Air Base, the F-14 sported 2 Pratt & Whitney TF-30 414a powerhouse engines. That's all I know. Watch It!! (again)

This move seemed a lot cooler to me when I was younger. I watched it again last week and was not impressed by the ending. It's still a good movie though, just not great.

A great movie! The flying scenes are fantastic & almost all completely realistic for non-CGI stuff. They could have edited they flight sequences together better in some areas. A pretty good love story too, although it never would happen in real life.

I thought it was one of the greatest movies Tom Cruise was in he was the best Pilot in the movie and the academy and everyone knew it and was jealous of it!!!!

A classisc 80's movie... the hot piole
The hot pilot and the hot psychiatrist meet, the pilot pursues and gets the girl, eventually saves the day. And made Air Force recruitment skyrocket(even though its about the Navy). All in all, I like it... -

danger zone...!! i love this movie. i normally hate planes (terrified/get sick) but i love watching this movie cause of them. it really makes me wanna do something like that then i remember i cant fly. hahaha. great love story with a really guy film!!

I feel the neeeeeeeed for speeeeeeeeeeeeed.
to be fair, I had an f15 flight simulator on the old spectrum plus computer and it was a minor detail to me that the film used the f14 manufactured by a totally different company and arguably with more maneuvrability and firepower... never mind...we love the American Dream and the thrill of fly-by-wire technology (radical development of the late 70s and early 80s to scare shit out of the Russians in the end of the cold war).
We love the fact that the statuesque Kelly McGillis had to hide her height opposite the diminutive Tom Cruise... we love the fact that "that bloke from ER" got his big break in this movie...it is pure feel good eighties in the bruckheimer simpson tradition... -

Once again, another movie I can classify as being in the Hall of Fame for being THE SHIT. I LOVE this movie. I must have a tom-boyish side because these movies keep me quite entertained. Tom Cruise doesn't look too bad either.

wow i have just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a powerful movie 2 watch..this has got a great cast of actors/actressess throughout the movie..val kilmer is underrated throughout this movie,..i think that tony scott who directed this movie is a very talented director becasue he has made some great films/movies..he has made top gun, enemy of the state, the fan (with wesley snipes n robert de niro)..n a few other movies which i cannot rememeber..this has got a good cast of actors/actressess in this movie the script is good..this is an old 1980's movie n its pretty good 2 see...i think that this has got quite a good soundtrack throughout the movie n the song Take My Breath Away" by berlin is a good song..i think that the director of this Action & Adventure, Drama movie had done a good job of directing this movie because he keeps you on the edge's of your seats throughout the movie, you never know what 2 expect throughout this..this is a good romance movie n its a good movie 2 watch..

Top Gun is such a great movie. All of my friends and family love this movie and the soundtrack from Top Gun and also got the whole soundtrack on youtube :) 5/5 stars I give for this movie..
