MCT:September 25, 2008Crap, lame, awful. The storyline is a disaster, they didn't even make an effort to make the action scenes look real.
However, if you like fast and the furious, you might like this too :) -

MCT:July 17, 2008Biker Cary Ford has returned to his hometown to reunite with his girlfriend Shane and take care of a little unfinished business. When he skipped town months ago, Ford was in possession of several motorcycles belonging to Henry, a ruthless drug dealer and leader of the Hellions biker gang. Now Henry’s putting the squeeze on Ford in an attempt to retrieve the bikes, which have something a little more valuable than gas in their tanks. When Ford is less than willing to cooperate, Henry frames him for the murder of Junior, younger brother of Trey, the fearsome leader of the Reapers motorcycle gang. With the help of his loyal buddies Dalton and Val, Ford must outrun an FBI agent who’s hot on his trail while eluding both the misinformed Trey, hell-bent on revenge, and the callous Henry, who’s dead-set on getting back what is rightfully his. Racing across the desert in a perilous attempt to prove his innocence and convince Shane that he’s worth a second chance, Ford must outrace his enemies if he wants to clear his name and live to ride another day.

MCT:July 8, 2008I watched the first 5 minutes of this on tv, just for kicks, and was in utter shock. I pray they were actually going for the worst opening scene of all time.

Everyone has a guilty pleasure movie they enjoy. THIS is one of those for me. It's bad. Oh, WOW, is it bad. But that's why I enjoy it so much. Bad cheesy acting, insane action, and hot chicks battling it out ninja-style while riding motorcycles. What's not to love?!?

The plot is one that's been done before. Guy takes on a job, gets wrongfully accused and leaves town to protect the girl. I love a good action movie and this one definitely has a lot of of that. Some special effects are great and some are poorly made. I can find some parts ridiculus becasue it's just too much with the exploding and speed of the bikes. You got to love someone who can drive a motorcycle like that

Any discerning film lover can rip this film apart. You can start with the poor script, move on to the pretentious camerawork and then laugh at some of the poor acting-though Monet Mazur keeps her head above the sludge. However, if you accept that this is MADE for 15 year old, MTV loving petrol-heads, it's actually surprisingly good fun.

A Crazy Movie! Thats all i have to say. It had great action scenes. I love the ending where ford was chasing after the bad gang leader. Oh Man! That Was Crazy!

Think The Fast And The Furious on motorcycles. End of story. The stunts in Torque were okay. The plot was very average. The actors were very pretty, including Jaime Pressly, one of my personal favorites.
Not one of the top ten movies on any list of mine. Well maybe Top Ten Unnecessary Vin Disel Movie Ripoffs. Don't worry if you don't get a chance to rent this one before you die. -

I was expecting the equivelant of the Fast and the Furious or something like that but on bikes. Boy was I wrong. Rubbish in every sense of the word. I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing this. It would just waste your time.

MCT:August 12, 2007This movie was one long shitty music video, which makes sense, being directed by shitty music video director Joseph Kahn. It actually dared to poke fun at The Fast And The Furious. That's like Date Movie telling National Lampoon's Gold Diggers it sucks. Remember the break-dance fight in Zoolander? Well, in Torque, they had a bike fight. Yes, a fight with motorcycles. THEY FOUGHT ON BIKES. Except, unlike Zoolander, Torque's wasn't supposed to be comedy. Or maybe it was, but I wasn't laughing.
Bad acting, bad story, bad everything. On the DVD commentary, Kahn and the cast laugh heartily, poking fun at how bad the movie was. I'm glad SOMEONE got entertainment out of it. I give Torque a half-star, for half-decent half-ridiculous action sequences (minus the aforementioned 100% ridiculous bike fight). THEY FOUGHT ON BIKES. -

Not a bad movie, but then again, it had nothing new in it. Felt like it took a part from here and there, and everything said and done was already done somewhere else.
Martin Henderson is also a look-a-like of Peter Facinelli (from Fastlane), and it was both sweet and annoying. I raise my flag for Fastlane any time. At least they had an air of originality around the tv series.
There were some nice twists in the plot, but then again, those were nothing new. Also the basic need of showing off motorcycles and fast cars was almost ridiculous at times - but that's part of the deal in a movie like this.
Like said above, this is not bad! I've seen much, much worse. -

I've seen the first fifteen minutes of this movie, and they were quite possibly the funniest fifteen minutes of movie, ever. I wish I had the heart to put this in my netflix queue.

The end graphics were a bit cheesy. Wow, Jaime Pressly! I did not even realize who she was throughout the movie.
