Awesome movie. The sound effects complement the action perfectly making everything twice as exciting. There was never a dull moment, the script flowed easily, the acting was first-rate and the seamlessness of the CGI and live action was taken to another level. But the bad thing is only the music. The music should enhance the film by bringing out interesting themes or emotions, not force feeding us the drama we can plainly see on the screen in super slow motion. Overall, this movie is very enjoyable to watch.

ahaha ! nice joke with tremendous FX ... again, where is the scenario ? (also where are the actors ?)

I thought this movie was going to be SO dumb, but i was SO wrong! shia laBeof is AMAZING. I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!

Michael Bay directs Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox as they struggle to comprehends the strange invasion of giant robots that are more than meets the eye, because they turn into vehicles. Dazzling ILM effects, rolling action, and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime bring this live action take on Transformers to life. This is to say, not the Transformers the late 30s aged gang grew up with, but rather, their children. The movie has comic gags that fal flat, like annoying hyper character with doughnuts, hyper cops, and hyper Marines, and code breaking people that disappear and reappear faster than Frenzy. It's basically Transformers Armada, the movie, not Transformers G1. For G1, look to the 1986 original. Still a great ride, but could have been better. Could have had more robots and less humans cracking pee jokes.

The ultimate popcorn movie. Shia Labeouf is fantastic. It makes me want to play with action figures all over again.

Like kids, I fell in love with this movie almost instantly.. and thus highly recommend it to both adults and youths.
-
soo good. all the graphics were awesome... is it based on a comic book or sumthing? totally one of the best movies, like, ever!
-
Flashy, spectacular flick has knockout special effects, thrilling action scenes, and enough stupidity to boggle anyone's mind, held together and grounded by Shia LaBeouf's funny, likeable central performance.
-
Micheal Bay? Nope, nothing more then meets the eye here. All up front, big loud, explodingly dumb up-front.

Guess what? This movie sitting on my short list of NOT-SO-DISSAPOINTING 2007's SUMMER MOVIES. It was a shoking truth, but it turns out not so shocking and all, because I didn't have much faith from the movie. Instead I was thinking that it would be somekind of Ultraman meets Robocop thing that makes the kids like WOO! But it turns out different. Powerful prologue quite convincing that this is not a summer outsider to be mocked for months.
But what I concern about is Michael Bay starting to lose his Midas touch. After Armageddon, I thought he would make KNOCK OUTS, and this is certainly not one. Great action, great summer movie. And the acting, when it comes to this point, I can't figure out which ones are the actors and which one are the robots, if you know what I mean. Megan Fox maybe can burn down the guys' eyes, but this is not a swimming suit pageant.
Then these leave us to the conclusion, that Transformers is a summer movie that maybe, one of the best of the year. (I've mentioned somewhere that 2007 is not a good year for movies, right?) And Hollywood terms, one ends, one begins. Say bye-bye to Pirates of The Caribbean, THIS ONE GONNA KEEP HITTING THE SCREEN FOR THE NEXT COUPLE YEARS.
Before time began, there was the Cube. We know not where it comes from, only that it holds the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how our race was born. For a time, we lived in harmony. But like all great power, some wanted it for good, others for evil. And so began the war. A war that ravaged our planet until it was consumed by death, and the Cube was lost to the far reaches of space. We scattered across the galaxy, hoping to find it and rebuild our home. Searching every star, every world. And just when all hope seemed lost, message of a new discovery drew us to an unknown planet called... Earth.

Ha ha! I could never take any of Bay's movies seriously... especially this one. The acting was horrendous, the story was awful - absolutely no where near the original plot of the television series, and to top it all off... I had to endure 2 1/2 hours of bad humor.

i think it was a fantastic movie...unfortunatly i didnt get to see it on the big screen so the effect wasnt there for me as much
-
Pretty much the sickest and most bad-ass movie about alien robots I have ever seen. The visual effects still blow my mind, it far surpasses Lord of the Rings in that aspect. The raw talent and excellent comedic timing of Shia LaBeouf, absolutly makes the movie.

Although this version has mada a lot of changes compared to the original series, it is still quite a decent film.

Maybe not really up to expectations, but funny, great and exciting. My only regret is that I didn't watch it in the cinemas. Great music!
