    As a kid, I was a big fan of the cartoon, and when I found out that they were making a live-action movie, I got really excited. When I saw it, I loved it! It's just as good as the cartoon. This movie has a great cast, fantastic special effects and a silly yet decent plot.

    The ...( read more)cast is everything you could want in a movie like this. Shia LaBeouf is one of the most charismatic actors I know, and he was great in this. Megan Fox wasn't so bad, and she was fucking sexy. That's another thing about this film. Megan Fox makes it even more awesome - she was FINE! Jon Voight and John Turturro were fantastic. Tyrese Gibson was actually very funny and Josh Duhamel was probably cast for his good looks, but he wasn't that bad of an actor. This film had a really strong cast.

    Michael Bay is one of my favourite directors, and he's done a really good job with the action in this. These were some of the best effects I've ever seen. The Transformers themselves look awesome. They're so detailed and they were so fucking cool. The action was fantastic. Everytime I saw the Transformers fight or transform, I was on the edge of my seat. I loved the way they made the Transformers transform - looked fucking sick! Each action scene is staged well, with spectacular explosions and slo-mo shooting. Again, I will say that the effects made it even better.

    I didn't think the plot was bad at all. It's based on a fucking cartoon - what do you expect? It is a bit silly. I didn't mind that though, because it had a great beginning, middle and end. The characters were so awesome. I loved all the humans. They were so funny and interesting. The Transformers had fantastic personanlities. Optimus Prime and the other autobots all had personalities that we could all take a liking to. I loved Bumblebee - he was such a great character.

    I really liked the music. The score was fantastic. Steve Jablonsky has worked with Michael Bay a lot of times, and he's done a great job with the music in this movie. The music is so EPIC! Loved the songs.

    This is one of the best action films I have ever seen in my life. Megan Fox, Giant robots and lots of action - what more could you ask for? Highly Reccomended.

    It came as a complete shock to me that I LOVED this movie! Granted, I would consider myself to be a Michael Bay fan, but certainly not a Transformers fan. Yes, I played with toys as a kid and the concept is good, but I never really bought into the TV shoes etc... But there's very...( read more) little wrong with this film. Great script, dialogue, action, music and pacing. I now some may scoff at my great dialogue line, but the core to this films' success is the fact that it knows exactly what it is. It's an action block buster about living alien robots that transform in to various vehicles ... How seriously can you tale this concept??? But it manages to take it seriously enough to draw in the audience and keep our attention for almost 2 and half hours. My only 2 quibbles with this movie are Jon Voight, always a problem in my opinion, and that Australian chick and the fat black guy. The most irritating comic relief ever...? Possibly...

    Not being an expert on the history of this story franchise, I wasn't sure what I might be in for. Turns out -- I think -- that you don't have to know the whole Transformer story to follow this. Have to admit, the actual transformations, while pretty amazing, were also pretty di...( read more)fficult to follow. Best just to admire first the common object (car, cell phone, or what have you) and then, voila, the end product. If you try to follow the various transformation processes, you will get dizzy.

    I liked the humor in this one, and LeBouef managed not to irritate me -- a first. Fox, however, did irritate me. She has an irritating face, and an irritating voice, and her "acting" didn't do anything to alleviate that double-whammy irritation. It's always good to see Turturro. I'm actually looking forward to the second one.

    Love this one. I have seen it lot of times, enjoying it over and over again. Shia, Megan, nice, but unexpected pair. Anthony Anderson and John Torturro brings up a comedy, John Duhamel support the action with Autobots and Decepticons. Love it!

    King of the crashbang, Michael Bay is bringing us the much-anticipated live-action version of one of the best loved anime series ever.     GREAT movie! Great take on the transformers we all know and love! I totally didnt expect this to be as good as it was. The whole storyline was captivating and kept my attention.

    kind of rushed at parts, a little too much product placement so it felt like a 2 hr. car commercial. the realization and execution of optimus prime does the character and saga complete justice.

    I think this movie is a landmark in new special affects action, its fast but not filmed bad by Michael bay, in fact its filmed very, very well. The robots look awesome and so does the action, although it isnt very realistic, BUT WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK, its just too cool.
