Plot: When a remote Mexican oilfield comes down with a nasty case of Graboids (for the uninitiated: giant carnivorous worms with tunneling abilities that put Bugs Bunny to shame), it's up to those veteran m...( read more read more... )onster exterminators Burt and Earl (Michael Gross and the wonderful Fred Ward, reprising their roles from the first film) to save the day--and accumulate some much-needed payola in the process. But this time, the slimy critters may have a few new tricks up their...um, sleeves. Although denied a chance to appear in theaters, this unjustly neglected sequel delivers the same winning mixture of cornpone and gore that made the original Tremors a cult classic. A hoot-and-a-half for horror and SF fans, with some genuine scares and a welcome sense of humor. --Andrew Wright

Quite a distance from the excellent original this movie is the start of the degression of the series. Thankfully it doesn't kill the fun of the original. This movie still ranks among the best B movies though so don't hesitate to check it out.

The Graboids are back. But this time without the charm and originality of their first incarnation (Tremors - 1990).

Production companies know a fast buck when they see one. Take a surprise hit film, regurgitate the script, coax one or two of the actors back on the set, and spit out a sequel to the ready-made audience of sheep that will line up for whatever garbage Hollywood slops in their trough.

If you enjoyed the original (like me), do yourself a favor and quit while you're ahead. Skip this one.

Great sequel, almost as good as the original. But Kevin Bacon's replacement is just annoying as fuck.

A sequel that is far better than it has a right to be. Fred Ward and Michael Gross return from the original Tremors to battle both the "Graboids" and the new creatures they evolve to, known as "Shriekers". These new creatures walk above ground, and sense body heat. To them, heat equals food. Guess who's on the menu? Christopher Gartin joins the cast as a gung ho fan of Ward, and he is the voice for the audience. He's how we'd all be if we were suddenly in the middle of this whole situation. New situations are faced, new ideas are hatched to defeat the new creatures, and new allies are made along the way. Made directly for video, the movie was made by the creators of the original, and they manage to keep the tone and pace of the first Tremors. There are equal amounts of laughs, scares, and colorful characters to carry us through. The worms turn to, but they're not stupid animals, and watching the humans match wits with them is a big part of the fun. An exciting, well made sequel that set the stage for the additional installments to come.

ahh very cool movie, like the progress of it, they could of made it really stupid but the evolution of the graboids made sense.

Although the movie was lacking Kevin Bacon, Christopher Gartin was a well-chosen replacement. It follows almost the exact formula as the first, despite the change of setting and some new stuff from the Graboids, but still musters enough fun to make it a worthy sequel to one of the best monster comedies around.

The introduction of the shriekers and the presence of the incorrigible Burt Gummer help this direct-to-video sequel to play out better than otherwise expected.

It keeps the fun of the original, and that makes it worth watching, but don't expect anything too much. This is a definite popcorn flick, and nothing more.

as fresh as it's predecessor thanks to some new ideas thrown in there in the mix. fred ward was still in it. the only let down was it wasn't the same without kevin bacon, but generally you can't beat the comedy horror that the series has to offer up. liked the mini baby graboids that sprouted legs! brilliant scene where fred ward decides to set one of the bombs off in the shed and michael gross is telling them they may need to run a bit further! haha. classic stuff. chris gartin was funny in it... but he was no bacon

A decent follow up to Tremors, not nearly as good as the first but still more than good enough to stand on its own feet. My main problem with this one was how easily they dealt with the Graboids before they evolved. I don't care if they did have the tools to do so this time when they didn't last time, it just makes them all look like a bunch of losers the first time around.

Not a bad sequel to the cult classic first. No Kevin Bacon this time but his partner from the first film is back. Working as a Graboid exterminator, down in Mexico. This time round can they get any smarter?

Eh. It's ok but not as good as the first one. Some of the coolness of the creature goes away when they are able to spawn mini versions of themselves and walk around.

Not as well done as the first, but it sill has good things -- including taking the legend further. It's charming and not so self-conscious.

A direct to video sequel. Fred Ward and Michael Gross are the only ones to return from the original film. Silly and simple basically sum up the dialogue and feel of this film.

this was a good movie, in the sense that they expanded on the original story. they could have got somebody else to play Fred ward's sidekick, because he was completely annoying

Not nearly as enjoyable as the first, but still a healthy dose of "graboids" for ya. The absence of Kevin Bacon s sorely missed but the movie really gives an effort to make up for it.

not as good as the first one but the shriekers were still pretty cool. They weren't as cool as the graboids.
