I?d say?treat. Its 1 movie with a few mini stories in it but all tied to the same ?plot?. Anna Paquin plays ?red riding hood? with a secret!! There?s a few actors you?ll recognize. Just watch out for that burlap sackhead kid. B

Finally a great Halloween movie that respects the holiday.

A very special Halloween anthology in the Creepshow tradition. Five little stories piece together nicely with surprises along the way. Not too scary or gorey, but a lot of fun to get in the Halloween mood, as the entire movie is oozing with atmosphere. Recommended.

A cool little movie that was blown up to be something far more than it actually was by hype, as fanboys are wont to do. If you've been following the interminable saga of Trick 'r Treat's release woes, then you're bound to be somewhat disappointed, as those hushed whispers of "one...( read more) of the best horror movies ever" were flat-out exaggerations. It's not particularly scary, nor terribly funny, but it's crisp-looking and proficiently acted and everyone here really seems to give their best effort. The movie regards Halloween as fun and mysterious, and a legitimate interest in the holiday oozes from every scene, which lends it a sort of classicism. This is the sort of movie you'd throw on every October just to have on, if not to watch intently. It's not going to blow your mind by any means, but it'll probably redefine the way you look at the holiday, as well as the way you celebrate it every year.

I've waited years for Trick 'r Treat to actually be released (Damn you WB!!). So you can imagine, how excited I'm. Trick 'r Treat is regarded as one of the best horror movies in years, is it that good? Well, yes. It doesn't mean it's scary filled with lots of blood and gore scene...( read more), or scary faces? A good horror movies can either scared the shit out of you, or simply makes you spooked; and what Halloween movie supposed to do? Spook you out!

There are 4 stories, 3 of them which is down right creepy and fresh, sadly i dislike the third one (Children story line), but don't get down with that. The movie starts out with a bang! followed up with twisted, funny and eerie storyline. Direction is great, love how the director managed to capture every detail of Halloween theme; like candy bars, mask, blood, festival, vampires, werewolves, childrens, psychotic, etc. Cast did awesome, Anna Paquin is just sensational.

So, what are you waiting for?
    8/10.

Fun horror anthology. Not overly scary, but a few interesting stories all set in the same town, just don't expect too much.
