  • Description: Bud Spencer was born as Carlo Pedersoli on October 31st 1929 in Napoli, Italy. He started his career as a swimmer and attended the Olympic Summergames in both Helsinki, Finland in 1952 and Melbourne, Australia in 1956. In 1951 he made his first movie Quo Vadis. In 1960 he gets married to Maria Amato and she gives birth to their son, Guiseppe, in 1961 and in 1962 to a daughter, Christiana. He makes his first movie with Mario Girotti in 1967 God forgives... I don’t and at this time Carlo changes his name to Bud Spencer. He chose that name because he is a big fan of Spencer Tracy’s and because he thought the English word "Bud" was very funny related to his figure. In 1972 his youngest daughter, Diamante, was born. Today he lives in Rom, Italy still working as an actor.
