It was a good movie and was full of action and very iteresting scenes.
But it was not as good as " The LORD Of The RINGS " or " TITAIC " but it was still up there.
its characters was very good, specially Brad Pitt and Eric Bana, Orlando Was A stupid in this movie , but he's a good actor specially in (LOTR).
And really I was confused w/ whome should I be ( Achelis or Paris and Hector )

I Loved this movie! Despite what those dimwits said about Paris (Orlanda Bloom) being the cause of the war...Paris and Helen should have been allowed to be with whom they wanted!

surprisingly, I did not like this movie at all. I was very disappointed in it. I could not even get through the whole movie, I ended up turning it off!

I saw this movie on CBC... But really, it's all Paris's fault. Stupid Orlando Bloom. Other than that... I liked it.

This is a movie not the entire mythology so that means that some things have to happen that aren't actually true, besides how the hell were they going to show how Menalous was stranded when the movie ends just after Troy is destroyed?
and it was about Troy, not the character's personal journies.

This film sucks it misses parts out everywhere, and kills of Characters that arent supposed to die in the war.
e.g. Menelaous he gets stranded in Egypt after the war when returning homenot killed by Hector at all...
also when Hector kills Patroclus, hes upset by it in the film, when in the epic by Homer he's very smug and is proud of himself.
This film is crap entertainment as well.

Anyone who wants to shoot me when I say this can... This movie made my soul cry out in anguish. As a Classics person who's actually read the book that this movie claims to be based on, it's a bunch of Hollywood crap. They ruined Paris' character, messed up his past therefore ruining the one of the greatest epics ever known. Anyone who knows the back stories of the Trojan War knows how bad this rendition of the Trojan war is. This movie had so much potential and it failed miserably.

(May 2004 Director Wolfgang Peterson) Well, certainly Brad Pitt's (Achilles of Legend) finest movie. Proof that talent and looks are not the same thing indeed!! Go Brad!! Did I mention the spectacular performance by Brian Cox? Orlando Bloom? Eric Bana?Tender, riveting, historically passionate & performances by the finest actors includining Peter O'Toole and Brian Cox (The Bourne Identity, Long Kiss Goodnight) as Kings...did you know who played Hector? (Eric Bana) the Trojan horse legend (and of course love.....)
