I don't often seek out documentaries myself but this one is well worth the extra effort if you can find it. A compelling narrative about a courageous and extremely intelligent human being.

A unique documentary, actors read personal letters Dalton Trumbo wrote. It's an effective approach. Professionally made, very good score. Very informative.
This was a great film. The cast is absolutely star-studded and the reading was amazing! Interesting life Mr. Trumbo lived.
A beautiful documentary -- interviews mixed with actors performing Dalton Trumbo's own personal letters -- paying due and affectionate tribute to one of Hollywood's greatest wordsmiths, through showing us the man's talent and humanity. Elegant, moving stuff.
