Wow. This movie is absolutely amazing, and one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is truly beautiful and moving. I recommend this movie to everyone. Everyone should see this movie. The life lessons are ones everyone should know and I will try to keep this movie in mind as I live my life. It is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. I never cry during movies and, during this one, I was having a hard time holding in the tears (I had to hold them in because I watched it in health class). The relationship between Morrie and Mitch is beautiful. I hate sad movies, and I never watch them, but even I loved this movie and consider it to be one of the best movies I've ever seen. I will definitely watch it again someday (maybe like when I'm sad and just need to cry and eat ice cream.) Just, seriously, WOW! That's all you need to say: WOW.
This movie shows us many things. One of the most important moral lesson is how to live life and love people. It also teaches us that each day we should lived to the fullest, regardless of the situation. This true story wins somebody?s love all of the particular type of sympathy and good sense of a man who only knew good in his heart.
Hank Azaria in a serious role (excellent); Jack Lemmon (amazing). Someone descibed it as "Hallmark"; I think that's a good thng. The plot summary says "touchy-feely"; as opposed to what? - blood and violence or intellectual bludgeoning? It's a good story, above average acting, and a hand full of things to think about and learn.
OMG i really don't know how to start! What can i say?? It's got to be my favorite movie of all time...no kidding! It's just so great and inspiring I was crying when i watched it.
I had to read the book for school, and it was pretty good.
I found out there was a movie, I watched it, and I loved it!
The only problem I had with it was it sped through the story too fast, but that always happens in movies based off of books...
Made for TV tearjerker that is rather more subtle than most of it's type, Jack Lemmon giving a very sensitive performance as a terminally ill professor giving life lessons to his protege. It's still steeped in sentimentality, but is rather more bearable than most of these kinds of Hallmark moments.
Setimental yet inspiring movie about a dying man who teaches one of his old students some last lessons about whats important in life.
Jack Lemmon was wonderful as Morrie and as much as this movie is sad, it leaves you with some food for thought.
I'm so grad that I got a chance to watch this movie again after my first time in 2001 when I was in the USA. And this is the same, it's so great and I have learned so much about life from this movie. All Morrie's lessons giving to Mitch are so great. One lesson that I like the most-- "Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too - even when you're in the dark. Even when you're falling."
very good movie, Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria both give outstanding performances. It was alot more than what I expected out of a movie that was based upon a book that was in Oprah's book club.
A very sweet and moving film. A very simple movie that really makes you think! It is a little slow and not a lot happens, but what it represents makes up for this.
Another film the brings fourth the tears. Wonderful story that is based on a true story. Feel in love with this film in an instant. A great friendship movie.
OH. MY. GOSH.
This movie has got to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. It really changes your views on life and death and it teaches you that the love of family and friends is the most important thing.
It was an okay movie, but it was sort of boring. I could not sit through the whole thing without dosing off a little bit. I've even read the book, and that isn't bad. The movie, was still not bad.
Absolutely magnificient. Nothing to reproach. Its delicacy, power, emotion, thought-provocation and, simply, its amazing beauty is enough to truly mark you for a while-- if not for life. It made me cry so long and not for the usual cliché reasons, either. For much more... anyway, if you want to see something made for REAL, see "Tuesdays With Morrie". Enjoy.
