Colton is a young man who feeds on the pain of others, and takes great delight in chastising his peers for going to church. Still, Colton's parents pray every night that their son will find salvation. One night, after a wild party, Colton and Sara are both involved in a horrific car accident. In the aftermath of the accident, Colton experiences a bizarre personal transformation. Gone is the tormentor who once isolated himself from his peers, and in his place is a person who seems to have a strong sense of both compassion and empathy.
