Lynch's dark, sexy and disturbing universe rises again in an apparently peaceful town. not one of his best, still quite an experience.

A Lynch film almost exclusively for fans of the television show. It ties up no loose ends to the show, which is very disappointing. However it's a prequel, so that would explain why. It's okay on it's own, but won't make much sense without following the show.

The type of film that reminds me how full of bs is Lynch. That monkey at the end is the kind of crap that would get any other director hanged, but since it was Lynch suddenly it becomes "oh so deep dude!"

Wow, David Lynch. You do make some messed up movies. Too bad they arn't messed up good, just messed up 'rape your dad' kinda messed up. This film had some redeeming parts, mostly the midget talking about garmon bozia to a one armed man.

I still think it would have been better to see a wrap up of the show that ABC unwisely gave up on than a prequel showing the last seven days of Laura's life. Most of that had already been revealed in the series. But beggers can't be choosers and it was nice to see Cooper and Co i...( read more)n action one last time.

Two things I love about Lynch: absurdist humor and his ability to jolt and terrify. Too bad he uses each inconsistently--he's a master at both. After 20 min. of hilarity, FIRE WALK shifts to a rape/incest story, powerful despite an overwrought Sheryl Lee.

Didn't care for it. I am a big fan of the tv show and all the darkness is exposed in this not hidden which I find to be more perverse, your imagination can create far worse things that the screen can show you.

Do not, I reapeat, do not watch this movie before wathing the entire first season.
The movie is better than the series; must be they have more time to flesh out the mystery. Highly recommended and all Twin Peak's fans should...not MUST...watch this.

Ahh, David Lynch. How your rampant nutbaggery entertains me so. This is an aptly wacko ending to Lynch's wacky TV series -- albeit, a very explicit, definitely-not-for-TV ending. Shows us just how disturbed Laura Palmer was, and why (let's just say her self-destructive state of m...( read more)ind is rather justified). Much like the TV show, it boasts a surprisingly linear plot for Lynch, but is prone to the odd (and I do mean ODD) digression. Overlong but rather engaging, if you dig this sort of trip.
