Twisted is your typical thriller that has a obligatory, game-changing twist at the end. Ashley Judd is as gorgeous as always, while Garcia and Jackson phone-in performances that really don't require a lot of effort from them.

There's nothing new here, and the "why" of the murde...( read more)rs wasn't really explained to my satisfaction, but whatever. You know if you like these kinds of movies or not, and if you you do, then Twisted is worth watching on TV (or picking up at the store for $5, like I did).

A film with a lot of talent which can't get over a very bad script. First of all it throws out some excellent ideas of how everyone is a killer, it's just about control, but soon gets swept away with "could it be him?" crapness. Constantly it sheds a shadow over characters, all e...( read more)xcept one. Could this one person be the killer? You decide. The performances are great, especially Strathairn and Garcia but they have no other purpose than to be suspects in a film more focussed on giving a "never see it coming twist" than a logical conclusion. Some laughable dream sequences round out this poor attempt at psychological horror.

I would hardly call this 'twisted'. What they're trying to tell you is that the ending has a twist, but it's twisted in a way that nothing makes sense in the ending. It was easy enough to guess who was behind the murders, and I hate it in films like this when they need a twist so...( read more) they pull out a random person to be responsible. No clues, no nothing to explain why.

The plot is convincing though, if only it was made better by the acting and 'twist'. It follows a female police officer who is investigating a series of murders, and soon finds out that she has slept with all of the victims. The plot tries to draw you in with the possibility that she might be the killer she is looking for, she seems to be going a bit crazy dealing with her father's death.

It wasn't just the ending that is this movie's downfall. The acting could have been a lot better, it seemed as if they just didn't care. Ashley Judd was okay, nothing more. Samuel L. Jackson was the easiest to tell that he gave this movie nothing special, and then Andy Garcia was really the only decent performance, I kind of liked his character.

It's not something I would recommend for anyone to see, but hey, maybe you might enjoy it more than I did.

This featured some of the most spectacularly bad acting I've seen in quite some time.

Quite a dark psycological thriller, kept my interest I must say. I do enjoy watching Andy Garica and Samuel L Jackson in movies which is what drew me to this one. Its not the best movie in the world, but I enjoyed the darkness of the film and trying to guess who was to blame.
