Bullock and Grant were great together. It was very fun to watch the tension in their relationship until they realized that they should be together. I love all chick flicks, but this one was especially good.
OMG look its Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock in another romantic comedy. Seriously how many times is he going to play the blinking British guy who seduces the lead female. Ladies are you that desperate. Colin Firth is so much more gorgeous.
I love Hugh Grant!!! He is one of the best...! Sandra Bullock is also very good!!! This movie is one of my favourite! I have seen it many times...! Funny and romantic!
Explores the question of whether it's ever too late to say 'I love you'. The story revolves around Lucy Kelson (Bullock), a brilliant but neurotic attorney, and her client (Grant), who is "charming, irresponsible and fabulously wealthy." Witt plays a young Harvard graduate who also represents Grant's character.
I don't really know why I bought this film. Yes, it was cheap but that really isn't the point. I knew it would be rubbish and I don't even like Hugh Grant or Sandra Bullock an awful lot. To start with there really aren't many reasons to like it anyway. The acting is poor an a big let down. The plot is just stupid and you shouldn't expect anything from it. There is nothing more too it and you could probably guess what was going to happen before even watching it. There aren't many reasons to see it are there. I wouldn't recommend this film. It would just be a complete waste of time and money in my case.
I thought this movie was hilarious. i always thought Hugh Grant was a funny actor, but i didnt know Sandra Bullock could be this funny, i mean i liked her in movies like speed and practical magic, but she was absolutely hilarious in this movie, oh and in miss congeniality she was really good in that as well. Sorry straying, this is a must see, totally funny.
I though these two did an okay job together. I'm always frustrated when my main romantic characters don't communicate so this is one of those times but on the whole Hugh Grant's easy sytle is something I'm a fan of.
Sandra & Grant work together, but only for the ending. This could be so much better if it had a pornographic style, ha. I'm kidding. A good film would incorporate more than tongue-in-cheek humour and incorporate sexy scenes.
There are no plot surprises here, but despite how completely formulaic everything is, it still entertains as both a romance and a comedy. And although I'd never have put Bullock and Grant together, they managed to pull off enough chemistry to make this believable.
A lawyer Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock) has an epiphany after she stops working for an amoral Real Estate Developer George Wade (Hugh Grant): She's attracted to him to stop the destruction of the Coney Island community center from her childhood! George goes in search for Lucy and they confess their feelings for each other.
I was morbidly curious about this film and sat down, expecting a turd of a film and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly, it's no award winning, ground breaker of a film, but it's a decent, brainless chick flick that has a lot more going for it than most of the Rom-Coms these days.
It's one of those films that I always wanted to watch. It was good. They make a great couple and I love how they were at the resturant eatting lunch and they were picking food off each others dishes. I love the dress that she wore at the end. She was so pretty. Hugh Grant was great too. I love his little comedy jokes. They were really funny. Great film.
I adored this movie so much. And I'm not a rom-com fan. Hugh Grant is totally charming and sexy and Sandra Bullock is more lovable then irritating. However, I don't buy that her character is a compulsive eater because she's so skinny. Overall, a totally fun, watchable flick.
This film is brilliant. Its not remarkable in anyway. Just simple, simply funny and brilliant. Hugh and Sandra are two of a kind and work well together. So enjoyable and good oneliners
