MCT:September 23, 2008I liked it. I will say, though, that the whole issue of domestic violence didn't sit too well with me; it's not something that I like to see on the big screen, particularly. But the rest of it was good. Madea was, as always, a sight to behold. I liked it.

Tyler Perry was GREAT! he ranks right up there with Eddie Murphy when it comes to playing more than one character. The movie was impressive. The cast was AWESOME! Having Maya Angelou and Cicely Tyson as supporting cast members was a nice surprise. I enjoyed how he handled the physical abuse in this movie. It had highs and lows. What a roller coaster ride!

Yes it's over the top and cliche. But So Funny and Sweet and sometimes its nice to see things wrap up in a neat bow. It has a Serious side to.

An enjoyable flick that has a lot of spirit, plenty of heart and some laughs. Blair Underwood and Lynn Whitfield did a great job of playing their characters that you want to smack. Also, the wedding at the end of the movie is crazy beautiful.
