Walter Mitty-style daydreamer George (Weird Al Yankovic) becomes manager of an independent television station, and his bizarre programming becomes a surprise hit. Good spoof for both kids and adults, with surprisingly offbeat humor and lots of parodies of 1980s hit movies.
I don't care that this is dated, excellent parodies of many 80's movies.

Was good for it's time. The pop culture jokes are worn out now and don't mean anything to kids now. But it was good.
Despite what Roger Ebert says, this movie is really good. There are a lot of funny, off the wall moments that make this a great veg movie. Great seen in groups.
I enjoyed this move a lot. It's magnificant. Whoever doesn't say so, can go away. I mean, this movie had perfect spoofs, and for god's sake... IT'S WEIRD AL! It's fantastic.
This is a comedy film by parody music artist Weird Al Yankovic. Now I really enjoy Weird Al's music and videos. Plus after watching interviews and other work by him he is quite funny. This is a funny film. Not as good as I thought it would be. But it still has many funny moments ...( read more)
